Join us for the 16th Annual Fitness Festival, “Sister to Sister,” on October 7, 2017, and take part in the 5K walk/run to help end breast cancer!
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
Packet Pickup and check-in – 6:30 a.m.
5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) – 8:30 a.m.
Race day registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the race site.
Online registration ends on October 7, 2017, at 6:00 p.m.
The cost to participate is $20-30 per person.
Angels Surviving Cancer, Inc. is holding its 5th annual “Angels Surviving Cancer” breakfast on June 10, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit women going through breast cancer with school age children; who are too ill to work, care for their families, or need childcare. They also provide scholarships to current high school graduates in pursuit to post education whose mothers have succumbed to breast cancer.
My first community-wide event as Black Police Daughter was a success. On April 22, 2017, in conjunction with the Black Police Officers of Dallas and the Dallas Police Department, “Where Do We Go From Here?” was held at the Black Police Officers building. The Dallas media took note of the event.
